For Church Attendees Across Upper Harbour & Beyond

An opportunity to understand common mental health challenges in Upper Harbour

One in four adults in Aotearoa will experience mental health challenges in their lives, and we’re seeing a rise in struggles among our rangatahi (youth) too.

Join us for BE EQUIP’D, an evening designed to help you understand common mental health challenges, learn practical strategies to support others, and explore ways to nurture your own wellbeing.

This is a combined Upper Harbour Churches event. Poor mental well-being is a key issue facing communities & households across Upper Harbour. Our heart is for the Church to be equipped to be part of the solution.

This evening will be led by Tamzin Walker, an Instructor Development Manager at Te Pou and a Casual Registered Health Professional at Equip; and Ben Erby, the Family/Whānau Coordinator at Equip, a locally-based, nationally-recognized mental health organisation.

This is a safe space to learn, ask questions, and be equipped to make a positive difference in your life and the lives of those around you.
