Ministry Supervision and Coaching

Helping pastors and leaders be their best selves.

It is our passion and joy to do all we can to help pastors and leaders be their best selves in their important work of serving their churches, organisations or movements.

We believe that ministry supervision and coaching is a crucial part of this picture.

Many denominations require professional external supervision for their pastors, ministers or priests to operate. Pastoral or ministry supervision or ministry-related coaching is usually a more formalised relationship than discipleship or mentoring.

Professional supervisors or coaches offer their services for a fee and have relevant experience and qualifications. Also, ministry supervision or coaching focuses specifically on the minister in their ministry role, as opposed to spiritual direction, counselling or therapy.

Organisations Offering Supervision and Coaching

Mid-2023, we gathered representatives from several organisations offering supervision or coaching to share what they are doing in this space. We encourage you to check them out.

We are also investing in this space ourselves. Our Prayer Leader, Dale Campbell, has engaged in full-time, volunteer, church and not-for-profit ministry since 2002 and has a Masters in Applied Theology from Carey Baptist.

In 2023, Dale was part of the first cohort of the new Ministry Supervision qualification at Laidlaw College (Post Grad Certificate in Theology - Ministry Supervision) and he is available to take on a limited number of supervises.

Reach out to him if you are interested.
